Ubu Films Exhbition

Ubu Films Exhibition
Supervised by Dion Tuckwell

The concept for the Ubu Films exhibition is that it showcases the faces of those featured in their experimental, vibrant and outrageous productions. The name of the exhibition ‘16 mm’ is the media in which the people were captured and shown to audiences across the country. This outcome is light hearted and playful to emulate the same nature that the Ubu Film Members left on Sydney’s underground culture through their spirited and radical productions.

Wayfinding System
Branding Campaign
A system of visuals to assist in the directional information to guide visitors throughtout the Ubu Films exhibition. This concept follows seamlessly from the invitation to gallery flags to create a visually aesthetic and dynamic branding kit. All graphics choice and photography have been used to emulate the design and values of Ubu Films emulated through their own productions during the 1980’s.
