This research-based exploration in the first part of ‘Live From New Worlds’ is inspired by found and vintage footage. Utilising old television tropes and cinematic icons, aims to transport the viewer back to a different era.Inspired by The Stack, ‘Deep Blue’, ‘Above the Fold’ and ‘Subscriber’, is presented literally through the dynamic and otherworldly footage. However, it further alludes to a bigger idea of the digital realm and its capacity to mimic, retrieve, store and share all kinds of information about us and our history.
